The project consisted of drilling 6 geotechnical boreholes, HQ3 core to 50m below sea bed level with SPT’S & U50 Tubes every 1.5m. All marine boreholes were grouted to the surface upon completion. On land, Soil Mechanics drilled an additional 4 boreholes complete with 50mm monitoring wells and a single 100mm pump testing bore. Soil Mechanics DR003 Desco geotechnical drilling rig along with modular Jack up barge were mobilised from Perth to Onslow and assembled in Beadon Creek.
