With over 550m metres of drilling covering the 580 km route. It was a logistical challenge to say the least, crews carried sufficient supplies and were monitored  daily via GPS.  Soil Mechanics used two small 4×4 mounted pencil auger rigs to cover the pipeline route and DR002 for the sub stations geotech boreholes, the project had a number of river crossings and tough 4×4 tracks.
