Soil Mechanics conducted geotechnical drilling investigation work for Lend Lease and Department of Defence, HMAS Stirling Careening Bay Garden Island.

The geotechnical scope included 4 x HQ cored boreholes 25-30m deep below seabed level with SPT’S and U-63 Tubes every 1.5m taking 5 days to complete. The Jack up barge and sea fastening of the drilling rig and equipment took place in Henderson then was towed to Garden Island.
