Introducing Mandatory Certifications for All Drillers
At Soil Mechanics, we place a strong emphasis on training and development. That’s why in 2022, we introduced mandatory Certificate 3 in Drilling Operations for all Drillers and Certificate 2 in Drilling Operations for all Driller Assistants. This move has helped to ensure that our team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.

We’re proud to announce that several of our Drillers have completed their Cert 3, while several Driller Assistants have completed their Cert 2. This is a great achievement for our team and we’re confident that these certifications will help us to provide even better service to our clients.
25% Growth
In 2022, Soil Mechanics experienced a 25% growth overall. This is a remarkable achievement and it’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. Extensive Safety Upgrades to All Equipment
At Soil Mechanics, safety is a top priority. That is why we made extensive upgrades to all of our equipment in 2022 to ensure that our team members can perform their tasks safely. Securing New Premises and Purchase of New Assets
In October 2022, Soil Mechanics secured new premises, which we moved into in January 2023. This new location provides us with more space to operate, and it’s a great location for our clients to visit. Additionally, we purchased a brand new Hino Beaver Tail, Hino Water Truck and additional Hanjin D8 drill rig.
Obtaining ISO Certification 9001 and 45001
In 2022, Soil Mechanics obtained ISO Certification 9001 and 45001. This certification is a testament to the quality of our services, and it demonstrates our commitment to providing excellent service to our clients. Additionally, we met BHP compliance, which has helped us to expand our services even further.
