DRILLING SOLUTION

Scope of Work

The geotechnical boreholes project entailed drilling a total of 15 boreholes of varying depths, amounting to 465m, with HQ3 coring and bulk auger drilling. The operation included falling head tests, standard penetration tests, and the installation of up to 10 standpipe piezometers. Logistics involved 57 shifts, client-supplied accommodation, meals, water, and fuel, with Soil Mechanics providing a drill crew, equipment, and handling of drill cuttings. A telehandler was used for material handling, and safety measures like cyclone blocks and spill bunds were implemented.
